As the RFID technology used in our Australian resorts is different from the technology used in the Northern Hemisphere resorts, you will need a different Mountain Access Card for use in each hemisphere.
To collect your pass in Japan, visit a ticket office at one of Hakuba Valley's 10 resorts or Rusutsu, present your Australian issued Mountain Access Card, and show valid photo ID that states your full name and date of birth (this could include your Passport or Driver’s License). The ticket agent will use the Customer ID number displayed on the front of your card to search for your account in the system, verify that your account information matches with your photo ID, and issue your new card for use whilst in resort.
Please Note:
- If you have an older Mountain Access Card or have owned multiple accounts with us, your Customer ID number may be out of date. Please sign in to your account by clicking here to confirm that the Customer ID number in your account and the Customer ID number on your current card match prior to travelling. If these numbers do not match, please reach out to the Epic Australia Pass team here for further assistance and to arrange a new card.
- Made it to Japan and forgot to bring your Mountain Access Card with you? Sign in here to find your Customer ID number under 'Personal Details' and present this at the ticket counter along with a valid photo ID.
When collecting your new card in Japan, it is important to take a photo of the card for your records. In the event that you lose your new card prior to using your 5 days of lift access, return to a ticket office and present the photograph to a ticket agent to request a replacement card.
