The Epic Australia Adaptive Pass offers access to our resorts at a discounted rate for guests with permanent disabilities.
That documentation is acceptable for verification of eligibility?
All 'individual’ Disabled Wintersport Australia members and Government Companion Card holders are eligible for the Epic Australia Adaptive pass and will be automatically verified after providing documentation. All other requests will be assessed on an individual basis.
The following documentation will be used as the primary method to verify eligibility after purchase:
If you do not have either of the above documents, any one item from the following list can also be used to verify eligibility:
- Driver's license noting restrictions
- Certification from a private Vocational Rehabilitation or other counsellor that states that the person needs an accommodation
- Request / Documentation from a State Vocational Rehabilitation Agency counsellor
- Letter or record from a Federal Government agency that reflects the person has a disability
- Letters or medical notes from physician's/medical professionals that request accommodation based on a permanent disability
- Other state-issued proof of disability
Does my Epic Australia Adaptive Pass come with lift access for a guide or companion?
Individual members of DWA and Companion Card holders are eligible for the Epic Australia Adaptive Pass. However listed companions or Associate members of the DWA are not eligible to purchase the Epic Australia Adaptive Pass. For more information on eligibility please click here.
Please note that Epic Australia Adaptive Pass holders that require the assistance of a companion or guide to support them on the snow can purchase one Guide/Companion lift ticket per day with a 50% discount off regular full day lift tickets at all Vail Resorts owned and operated resorts.
Guide/Companion lift tickets can be purchased in advance by contacting our Guest Services team when products become available for purchase in the coming weeks, or over the counter in resort on presentation of your current DWA membership card or Companion Card where a carer is noted or endorsed on the card.
