Mountain Access Cards are used to hold your season pass lift access using RFID technology, and provide easy access to lifts by scanning through gates at each lift.
As the RFID technology used in our Australian resorts is different from the technology used in the Northern Hemisphere resorts, you will need a different Mountain Access Card for use in each hemisphere.
Collecting your Mountain Access Card: U.S. and Canada
To collect your Mountain Access Card in any of our Vail Resorts owned and operated resorts in the U.S. and Canada, visit a season pass office, show valid photo ID that states your full name and date of birth (this could include your Passport or Driver’s License), sign a release form, have your photo taken and then hit the slopes.
Collecting your Mountain Access Card: Japan
To collect your pass in Japan, visit a ticket office at one of Hakuba Valley's 9 resorts or Rusutsu, present your valid 2022 Epic Australia Pass card, and show valid photo ID that states your full name and date of birth (this could include your Passport or Driver’s License).
